What you see at the top

Three cards answer three questions.

Products doesn't ask you to scan a table. The three cards at the top answer: which product is most fragile, which one is missing data, and which one you should sell more of.

Lowest margin — the silent leak.

The product with the worst margin, surfaced. Often a bestseller everyone assumes is great. nouz tells you it's making 14% — and you stop pushing it.

Missing COGS — nudge to complete.

Products without a cost-per-unit show as "Missing COGS". Click to fix. Until then, margin is calculated optimistically — and we flag it as inflated.

Highest margin — sell more of this.

The one paying you best per unit, surfaced. Could be your espresso. Could be a side product. Either way — now you know what to recommend, what to merchandise, what to push.

Margin bar per row.

Each row shows the margin both as a number and as a colored bar. Red below 30%, amber 30-50%, green 50%+. You can scan twenty SKUs and find the four to investigate in three seconds.

The full screen

The Products screen, in full.

Three KPI cards at the top, then a sortable table. Price, tax, net, COGS, margin — color-coded bar per row. Click any product to edit its cost in a side panel.

A routine, not a project

Add once. Margin forever.

Most owners don't track per-product margin because the setup feels like a project. Products is designed so one product takes 90 seconds to set up — and then it tracks itself.

Create a product.

+ Add product → name, SKU auto-generates, gross price + tax rate. You're 30 seconds in.

~ 30 seconds

Set COGS per unit.

Cost to acquire or produce one. For a coffee: beans + milk + cup. We show you the net and profit/unit live as you type.

~ 60 seconds

Log it on Revenue.

From now on, every time you log this product on Revenue, margin lands in your P&L and ranks in Statistics. No further work.

Automatic
When you'll use it

Three moments products earns its keep.

Products isn't a daily screen. It's the screen you open when something else looks wrong — and it answers in seconds.

Pricing decision

Should I raise this 50 cents?

Open Products. Find the SKU. See current net + margin. Bump the price field. See new margin live. Decide.

"Changed my latte from €3,80 to €4,20. Margin jumped from 58% to 64%. No customer noticed."

Drift investigation

Why did COGS drift?

P&L said 'COGS drifting up'. Open Products, sort by margin. One SKU dropped 8 points. You check the supplier price. They raised it. You raise yours.

"Caught my milk supplier price hike in the first week. Without nouz I'd have missed it for a quarter."

New SKU test

Is this worth keeping?

Added a new pastry six weeks ago. Open Products, see its margin (24%) and Statistics, see its share of revenue (4%). Decide: kill it.

"My banana bread looked like a star. Products showed me it was 14% margin. Off the menu."

Margin per SKU
without the spreadsheet.

Per-product margin is usually trapped in a spreadsheet nobody updates. Products keeps it live — and your P&L only trusts the numbers you've actually completed.
